They say you can’t pour from an empty cup. In the high-stakes world of modern healthcare, physical fitness is the "secret ingredient" that enables a nurse to remain calm, move efficiently, and deliver the best care possible.
At Chandrakant Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences, we know that the caregiver of the future needs to be as strong as they are compassionate. Our Annual Sports Day isn't just a break from the books—it’s a celebration of the stamina and resilience our students will carry into every hospital ward and emergency room.
it was a day for:
Self-Discovery: Pushing personal limits and finding new strengths.
Team Synergy: Learning that in nursing, just like in sports, we are only as strong as the person standing next to us.
Pure Joy: Seeing our future nurses trade their scrubs for sneakers and let their spirits soar.
Watching our students embrace fitness with such passion gives us total confidence that the future of healthcare is in very capable hands.

This 21st, our incredible students and passionate teachers went out on a field trip!

The destination: Loko Swasther Utsav organised at the Kachiamara Buniyadi Primary School ground at Meriganj, a modest village near Canning. The festival was organised by the Liver Foundation, West Bengal, in collaboration with the OAK Foundation. We set up three stalls: one was for food and nutrition, one for personal hygiene, and one for emergency healthcare.

We went in with food that is easily accessible and prepared with love by our students, alongside instruments and the zeal to do something good for humanity.

The takeaway is, love and care can build relationships and proffer a livelihood that can promote fulfilment and happiness. Here goes some of the moments we managed to capture from the fest!
