Learn about adjective order in English with this lesson. When you use several adjectives with a noun in English, the adjectives have to go in a specific order. For example, we say "strong black Italian coffee," but you can't say "strong Italian black coffee" or "Italian black strong coffee." Why not? Because of the adjective order rules. The Order of Adjectives Qualifying a Noun is - S S A C N M.
( S - SIZE, S - SHAPE, A - AGE, C - COLOR, N - NATIONALITY, M - MATERIAL)

Some More Examples of Adjectives Order before a Noun-

1. Twenty year old black American Negro.
2. A small Indian stadium.
3. A big round black Indian plastic table.
4. A specious dark cell.

Formal Letter Format in English: A formal letter is one written in an orderly and conventional language and follows a specific stipulated format. These letters are written for official purposes only, such as writing a letter to the manager, to the HR manager, to an employee, to the Principal of the college or school, to a teacher, etc. But we do not use formal letters for personal use such as writing them to our family, relatives or friends.
Usually, these formal letters are written in English in private companies. But, in India, many companies, especially government firms, accept formal letters written in the Hindi language. In fact, the formal letter formats are also taught to the students in schools so that they would be able to write the letters for any particular situation to their teachers and principals. Read on to find more about the formal letter example and formal letter writing samples, for example of a formal letter.

To write a formal letter follow the below-given tips:

1. Address or greet the concerned person properly like Dear Sir/Madam
2. Always mention the subject of writing the letter
3. Be concise in your letter. Write the reason for writing the letter in the first paragraph itself. Do not stretch the letter too much.
4. The tone of the letter should be very polite and not harsh
5. Write in a proper format and take care of the presentation of a letter
Mention the address and date correctly.
6. Mention the name and designation of the recipient correctly
7. The closing of the letter should be with gratitude. Use “Thank you” for consideration of the letter and then at last mention “Yours sincerely or truly” along with your name and signature.

These words are of different types based on usage in the sentence.

There are mainly eight types of parts of speech.

1. Noun.

2. Pronoun.
A Pronoun is a word used instead of a noun.
3. Verb.
A Verb is a word used to express an action or state of a subject;
4. Adjective.
An Adjective is a word used to describe a noun or a pronoun;
5. Adverb.
An Adverb is a word used to describe a verb, an adjective, or another adverb;
6. Preposition.
A Preposition is a word used to link a noun or pronoun with other words in the sentence.
7. Conjunction.
A Conjunction is a word used to join words or sentences;
8. Interjection.
An Interjection is a word which expresses some sudden feeling or emotion of a person;

There is one more part of speech added in Modern Grammar,
9. Determiners.
