The Department of Nutrition,SNU proudly congratulates Poulami Dutta (M.Sc.2024-2026) for securing the First Prize 🥇🏆in Paper Presentation at Nutri Conclave 2026, (theme: “Revive the Gut: Emerging Trends in Nutrition and Wellness”),organized by NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur, (Department of Dietetics & Nutrition) in collaboration with the Nutrition Society of India (Kolkata Chapter),held on 15th June 2026 at Peerless Hotel, Durgapur.
Her award-winning research work titled “Menstrual Health Challenges and Psychosocial Disorders among Adolescent school going Girls of Bankura- A Cross-sectional Study,” was conducted under the esteemed guidance and supervision of Dr. Moumita Das, Department of Nutrition, whose continuous mentorship and academic support played a vital role in this achievement.
Poulami Dutta’s presentation was highly appreciated for its scientific merit, clarity, and relevance, earning her the highest recognition among all participating presenters. The Department of Nutrition takes immense pride in her outstanding accomplishment, which reflects her dedication, research excellence, and commitment to academic advancement. This achievement not only brings honor to the Department but also serves as an inspiration for future scholars and researchers.

Mr. Ranjit Bhowmik, Academic Instructor, Department of Nutrition, Sister Nivedita University is also the Departmental SPOC at the Institution's Innovation Council, a dedicated campus hub to nurture a culture
of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and startup support among students and faculty.
Here is a glimpse of his speech on the theme of "Protecting the Environment and Wildlife Conservation". He highlighted some very pertinent issues on the impact of industrial growth on the environment and the importance of sustainable development.
