Kalakhetram, a complete dance troupe has been addressing the artistic vision of the organization for the last 25 years under the able guidance of Dr. Subhashish Bhattacharya, Professor at Rabindra Bharati University and Susmita Bhattacharya. Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body and so the institute besides creating young performers, also aims at maintaining the natural rhythm of li

fe. The institute has a vision to instill in young minds the richness of Indian culture and heritage. Kalakhetram also volunteers in building up a healthy society by using dance as a therapy for mentally retarded children, men and women. Kalakhetram boasts about a wide range of performances in India and abroad.

The ghungroos have quieted, but the lessons remain.

With that, _Nritya Nirvana_ — a 3-day Odissi Workshop — comes to an end.

For three days, Guru Dr. Ratikant Mohapatra guided us through the depth, grace, and discipline of Odissi, as we honoured the birth centenary of Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.

May the parampara we received here echo in every step we take forward.
