Battleground: Ground Zero - V.6

Yet another achievement for PRABODHAN in Ground Zero V.6 held on 30th Jan '21.
We participated in various events with indeed great results.
3rd position for Neehal Saha and Tairthik Ghosh in Dia-logic.
Sougata Ray and Tairthik Ghosh were one of the six finalists in The Controvert.
Shivani Kumari and Anjanashru Abhishek were one of the eight finalists in In-quiz-itive.
We participated in various other events like Taboo, Impromptu, Flipside, JAM and Verteez, proving once again that PRABODHAN society will always put great efforts to develop it's struggle into strength.

"The Harder, the Battle; the Sweeter, the Victory"

The winning streak continued when the members of Prabodhan took part in one of the most coveted debates organized by SAMSA. "Dare to Debate", SAMSACON 2020 saw sparks of brilliance flying as 3 teams from Prabodhan sailed through the Prelims and Prefinals and 2 out of them made it to the Grand Finale along with deserving participants from all over the country

After a show of talent and wit along with fierce competition among the worthy debaters, Moinak Paul from Prabodhan was awarded the title of "Best Speaker Against the Motion".

And as rightly said by Eddie Harris Jr, "It takes a dream to get started, a desire to keep going and a determination to finish",
it is our firm belief that Prabodhan will fly high in the sky kissing the clouds of success that it looks up to!

While we all had been trying to engage ourselves in productive activities during lockdown, enthusiasts from Prabodhan decided to explore and retain their creative aspects too and participated in the debate competition "Cross Fire" in the annual fest of eKAIZMA, organised online by College of Medicine and J.N.M. Hospital, and made Prabodhan proud, happy, overwhelmed and delighted by bagging the first place as a team as well as the best speaker award for both for and against the motion, proving once again that
Prabodhan can ceaselessly endeavour and persevere to attain the highest point, ALWAYS!!.

Here's presenting the second benchmark of PRABODHAN. In February,at Avenir 2020 -- Science fest organized by Netaji Subhas Engineering College, Moinak Paul (batch of 2019) was presented the distinguished 'Best Speaker' award in the debate competition. An inspiring milestone indeed!

Amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic which impacted all of our lives in a chaotic way, PRABODHAN, seized a chance to participate in the online debate competition held by Backstage Stories. Two of our teams participated making their way upto the finals and surpassing each stage with flying colors.
In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity. Thus we will keep on pushing ourselves to live upto the expectations that *'Talent surpasses obstacles!'*

Throwback to the first step to put PRABODHAN in the same tier with other renowned Debating Societies of the city. We not only stepped into the journey of debating together as a society, but also won in three different events in our very first participation.
