Sean Meghani and Md. Muzzammil, students of B.ComLL.B (Hons) Semester II, secured the Second Runners-Up position in the Quiz Competition conducted during XAVRANG 2026, the annual fest of St. Xavier’s University. The competition comprised a written qualifying round followed by multiple themed main-stage rounds, making it a rigorous and intellectually stimulating experience. The event provided valuable exposure and contributed significantly to the development of analytical and collaborative skills. Congratulations to Sean Meghani and Md. Muzzammil.

Today, the students of the Department of Law conducted Quiz and Extempore rounds at the SNU Pavilion of the International Kolkata Book Fair 📚✨
With minds engaged and ideas flowing, the crowd was extremely participative, turning the pavilion into a vibrant space of dialogue, curiosity, and spontaneous thinking.

The Department of Law, SNU organised a 2 days Legal Research Methodology workshop for its students, research scholars and faculty members. It was a great learning experience for all the participants. The workshop included very engaging sessions on understanding legal research methodology, research design, use of statistical tools and use of AI in legal research. The workshop was a huge success.
