The Captivating Criminality Network is delighted to announce its ninth conference. Organised in cooperation with the Gothic in Asia Association [GAA] and the BALAC Programme of the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, this will be the network’s first conference held in Asia taking place via hybrid mode at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.

Singapore Literature Conference 2023
Call for Abstracts of Papers

Organised by Poetry Festival Singapore, the Singapore Literature Conference is slated to take place on 29 July 2023 (Saturday). The conference, currently in its fourth year, is now calling for abstracts of papers that are in any way related to the theme of 'Sojourners'.

We are interested in papers that explore the theme in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and drama about Singapore and Southeast Asia from a wide range of perspectives and disciplines. The sessions will be on the following sub-themes: (1) community-building in the public sphere, (2) diversity and plurality in literature and the other arts, (3) youths and the future, and (4) issues in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The deadline for submissions of abstracts is 31 October 2022 (Monday).
