University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata is proud to hold an industry visit in Balmer Lawrie & Co Plant, Kolkata for the students of BBA and B-Tech. Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd is an Indian public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

It was a thrilling experience to get an opportunity for an industry visit where the students had the chance to know about their manufacturing and working process, work culture, and the company in detail. The students also visited the manufacturing and packaging units of the plant. The operation manager shared his knowledge about the company and its products along with the working process.

At the end of the industry tour, students got a chance to interact with the plant manager. He shared his valuable insights about the importance of research and the need for indigenous products and his working experience in the field.

University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata wishes the best to all students and this industrial visit will definitely be a value addition in their upcoming projects and career.
