What I thought was a one-time experience quietly changed everything…
Back in November, I created a small “pop-up” experience called the “2026 Metamorphosis.”
I thought it would simply be a meaningful gathering.
What unfolded became something much bigger.
I witnessed courageous breakthroughs, deep reflection, aligned action, and ripple effects extending far beyond the experience itself.
And honestly… it transformed me too.
Over these past months, that experience continued evolving within the chrysalis until it finally became what I’m sharing with all of you today—my signature program:

Today, before teaching yoga,
I opened the studio doors…and immediately found a bright green caterpillar inside waiting for me.
At first I couldn’t believe what I was seeing…then I couldn’t stop smiling 😊
..beautiful synchronicity, timing, validation, and confirmation...
A reminder to trust the timing.
To trust the becoming.
To trust the unfolding.
Some very special emails were sent today… and tomorrow, I’ll finally be sharing more with all of you.

When I got the text…I knew I had to go…
It had been 4 years since “graduating” one of my violin students…
And yesterday was her final concert…
as a Senior…🤯
We started in 2019,
Had our sessions outdoors in the apartment courtyard during the pandemic, and her mom and little brother would join us🎶
Yet our classes were different,
Each one was infused with confidence skill-building. Shifting to celebrating mistakes as growth instead of apologies.
She was also a student while I was writing my second children’s book, The Superpower of Your HEART—and became my featured video example for my book (see comments) because we would infuse the HEART strategy during our lessons.
Seeing her:
✨with a microphone 🎤 introducing the orchestra
✨powerfully conducting a piece
✨sitting as first stand in the symphony orchestra
✨being involved at all orchestra levels (even lunch buddies!)
✨traveled to Italy to play in different towns
✨sharing she will be playing for fun at her university

…and for this to be at my old high school…sitting at the stand where I had sat…with it being my 20 year reunion this year…
Full circle moment yet again 🫶
I couldn’t help but smile and be filled with such joy, awe, and love.

When the invisibility of your work becomes visible....
As a heart-centered changemaker, our work is normally “behind-the-scenes”.
The moments no one sees.
The hours and years spent holding space, building, rebuilding, guiding, creating, believing, empowering, networking, and becoming...
When people have asked in the past,
“What do you do?”
That question always made me uncomfortable because so much happens at such a deep level, that is often hard to describe—because it is not a *doing*, it is a *BE*ing.
Yet also, the invisibility was a part of the path because my story wasn’t ready to be shared, yet. My heart was still discovering its true path to becoming.
...From being a special educator >>> Districtwide climate and SEL coach >>> President and Director of Educating Mindfully >>> to becoming the CEO/Founder of The Butterfly Within®, guiding changemakers on their transformation journey...
The moment visibility happens, so does our commitment to the work.
When it is time to unfold our wings and show all our magnificent colors...it is time, and you can no longer hide.

Twice in one week, I needed to respond to medical emergencies…
Saturday was my husband, and today was a woman in a yoga class.
No time to think.
Just presence.
When the incident occurred today, I looked into the woman’s eyes and was brought back to my dad in the hospital a few years ago…
That same look was in her eyes…
A space where you feel how delicate life is, how important our soul’s purpose is…and there was a moment where I was uncertain if the soul was still within the body…in my arms…
Yet we moved forward with care and presence, letting the soul know that it is important to be here, now, in this body.
So we stayed.
Grounded.
Breathing.
As a group, we collectively supported the woman to the ground.
One called 911.
Another energy healer stepped in alongside me.
Together, we regulated energy, breath, and body,
We held steady presence, bringing her energy back within.
And she returned.
The medical team came and supported, and eventually she was stable.
After a while, we supported her in getting home safely.
On the drive, almost on cue…
A hawk flew right over our path.
Serving as a reminder and validation I felt in my whole body from my guides.
What I’m taking with me from these experiences:
💗Presence steadies what fear tries to shake
💗Co-regulation is real, how we show up impacts everyone around us
💗We are not meant to hold these moments alone
💗There is something sacred in holding space for a soul to stay
💗We are often called forward in the moments that matter most
💗Trust your inner guidance
This is the power of BEing a heart-centered changemaker

FULL-CIRCLE MOMENTS…Last week, a hawk flew directly over my car…
Hawks have become a sign I’ve come to trust as guidance and confirmation over the years.
When the signs happen, it’s important to catch the thought. At that time, my thoughts were that so many things are aligning…everything is coming full circle… and to just trust the process.
The next day, that message came up–AGAIN.
During my yoga class
In a conversation and reflection with a board member…
The same timing, the same themes… returning.
AGAIN that evening…
I was invited to be a featured guest for Kira Willey’s community to share my story, insights, and my book.
This was a full-circle moment because years ago, I had invited Kira as our featured guest for Educating Mindfully.
And as if this “full circle” thread wasn’t already clear…
I later received a message from Anodea Judith in response to my blog post:
“Great blog, Lindsey! Only YOU could find a picture of a shiny black dress with butterfly wings!” ✨
Sometimes, the signs aren’t subtle.
Sometimes, they arrive all at once to remind us that nothing has been lost…it’s all been weaving its way back to our heart’s purpose on our transformational journey.

There are moments where you get to pause and say…”Wow, this matters.”
Last week, I had the honor of being a featured guest for ’s Rockin’ Yoga Membership…on Superhero Day.
We gathered as a community of children’s yoga teachers–sharing stories, practices, and the deeper “why” behind this work.
And in the most full-circle way…
Kira featured my book, The Superpower of Your HEART ❤️
As a fellow children’s author whose work I’ve long admired, this moment held something deeper than just being “featured”.
It felt like a reflection of what happens when we stay committed to what we believe in, when we keep showing up for the children, for the adults guiding them, and for the kind of world we know is possible.
This work has always been about more than yoga–It’s about helping children (and the grown-ups in their lives) remember that their greatest superpower has been within them all along.
Grateful for spaces like this.
Grateful for leaders like Kira.
Grateful to be part of communities that are opening hearts in such meaningful ways.

When the inspiration came,
I wasnt sure what was unfolding, but…
When your heart gets called, you answer.
Just a few days ago, this strong idea came to create this “2026 Metamorphosis” Pop-Up workshop.
The guidance felt so strongly that it needed to be shared today. At first, I questioned this idea. It was feeling potentially impossible and way out of my comfort zone (and expanding even beyond education)…
How could I create a highly transformational experience, find the hearts that resonated, make the resources, create webpage, etc. in just a few days????
…I chose to trust in the guidance.
…and what felt impossible—became possible🦋
Wow, did this this experience fully embody its intention!
It was even more than I could have imagined in co-creating this with those who were able to engage.
To see the transformations, awakenings, and connections happening in just 90 minutes—even being online—this is what my heart beats for!
This gave me clarity on who I am becoming and the heart-centered service I have been cultivating my whole life so far.
Now I get to begin embodying “The Butterfly Within” my heart fully, confidently, courageously.
Still soaking in this morning’s magic✨✨✨
And I cannot wait to see what unfolds into possibilities.
