Though ২৫এ বৈশাখ has passed, the melody still lingers in our hearts… 🌿🎹
Our student Adrija Chakraborty, under the guidance of our piano teacher Mr. Kisaloy Roy, presents her heartfelt rendition of রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর’s timeless classic — “Purano Sei Diner Kotha.” ❤️
Some songs are not bound by dates or calendars; they stay alive through memories, emotions, and music passed from one generation to another. ✨
Hope this rendition brings back a few cherished memories for you too. 🌸

Some weeks ago, I stood quietly at the back of a violin class and simply watched.
Our teacher was completely immersed — not just teaching, but living every note. What moved me even more was seeing the parents standing still, silently observing, almost as if they were part of the lesson themselves.
The class ended. The next group had already arrived. Yet no one rushed, no noise, no chaos — just patience, respect, and a shared understanding of something beautiful happening in that room.
And there I was, behind everyone, taking it all in.
In that moment, I realised — this is it.
This is the music school I had always dreamed of.
A space beyond rigid professionalism.
No unnecessary boundaries.
No limits.
Just learning, connection, and music — open to all.
This is Sinfonia Foundation.
Grateful to have a team that believes in this vision and is quietly, steadily bringing it to life. 🎻
Progress begins with the right foundation.
Sharanya from South Point School (.school) has been learning violin with us for the past couple of months, and her journey has been wonderful to witness. Step by step, note by note, she is building strong fundamentals and confidence. 🎻

Last… but never the final one.
We were truly blessed to have Divyant with us for these two beautiful months. An exceptionally beautiful soul — and as always, with a beautiful soul comes a sensitive, expressive musician.
Though he now returns to Darjeeling for school, this is not a goodbye. It’s only a pause before the room once again fills with his laughter, his energy, and his music.
We saw the emotion in his eyes while leaving. And in that moment, we knew — this bond is forever.
Once a part of Sinfonia Foundation, always a part of it.
Here’s Divyant performing “Fanfare” by Michel Corrette (TCL Violin Grade Initial).
We are so proud of you. See you soon, maestro. 🎻✨
All thanks to Sagnik Mazumder ( ) for bringing him to

When the class ends… but the music refuses to 🎻🎸✨
No syllabus. No pressure. Just two young souls turning practice into pure magic.
That’s Divyant on Guitar and Nahyan on Violin 🎻
This is what happens when passion meets friendship — the real learning begins after the class ends. ❤️
If this vibe made you smile, imagine what happens inside our classes 😉

Meet Divyant, a student of St. Paul’s School, Darjeeling, currently spending his school break in Kolkata. Instead of taking a pause from music, Divyant chose to invest his holidays in sharpening his skills.
A true multi-instrumentalist, he plays the violin, saxophone, bass guitar, and more. During this break, he came to learn and grow under the guidance of his brother-cum-teacher, Mazumder Sāgnik, with the sole aim of becoming better at his craft.
What touched us deeply was Divyant’s generosity. Inspired by the work of Sinfonia Foundation, this young musician donated his premium violin bow and shoulder rest so that another child could learn and grow through music.
Sometimes, age has nothing to do with the size of one’s heart. 🎻✨

Farewell, Arindam 💙🎶
With a heavy heart and immense gratitude, we bid farewell to Arindam as he moves on to pursue the next chapter of his career.
For the past 1.5 years, Arindam has been an integral part of the Sinfonia Foundation family. More than a teacher, he has been a mentor, a constant support system, and a beloved presence for both the school and his students. His dedication, responsibility, kindness, and genuine care have left a lasting mark on everyone he worked with.
While his departure was always a part of his professional journey—and we are truly happy for him—it is undoubtedly a loss for Sinfonia Foundation. He will be deeply missed by his students, colleagues, and the entire Sinfonia family.
We thank you, Arindam, for your invaluable contribution, your commitment, and the memories you’ve helped create. Wishing you nothing but success, growth, and happiness in all that lies ahead.
Once Sinfonia, always Sinfonia 🎵❤️
All the very best!
