Two teachers from St. Joan’s School attended a three-day programme on AI-Native & Entrepreneurial Education for CISCE Physics Educators at the CISCE Centre of Excellence, Hyderabad.
Led by Prof. Varghese Panthalookaran and Dr. Rinku Jacob, the programme explored how Physics education can evolve for an AI-native world. The sessions focused on integrating responsible AI, design thinking and entrepreneurial approaches into teaching, learning, laboratory activities and assessments.
The programme encouraged educators to move beyond conventional classroom practices and help students apply scientific principles to real-world challenges. It highlighted the role of Physics in developing curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, innovation and problem-solving skills.
The experience provided our teachers with valuable insights into transformative classroom practices that can prepare students to become confident, future-ready learners and creators of meaningful solutions.
We appreciate their commitment to continuous professional development and look forward to incorporating these innovative ideas into our Physics classrooms.

Innovation in Motion! 🚗🚀
Our teachers had the incredible opportunity to visit the XPENG Smart EV Manufacturing Facility in Guangzhou, gaining a firsthand look at the future of intelligent mobility. Watching a vehicle come to life—from precision robotic assembly and advanced quality control to final testing—was a remarkable learning experience that showcased the power of automation, artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing.
One of the highlights of the visit was witnessing XPENG’s futuristic Land Aircraft Carrier—a groundbreaking modular vehicle that combines a six-wheeled electric ground vehicle with a compact eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft stored in the rear. Designed to enable users to drive to a location, deploy the aircraft, and take to the skies, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the future of personal transportation.
Experiences like these inspire us to strengthen STEM, robotics and innovation education at St. Joan’s School, ensuring our students are prepared for the technologies that will shape tomorrow’s world.
