Dear Maa,
I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much you mean to me and how appreciative I am of everything you've done for me over the years. Thank you for being the incredible mother that you are in my life.
You have loved and supported me without condition ever since the day I was born. You have been my rock through all of life's storms and a source of invaluable wisdom.
When I was sick or worried, you always stayed up late to be with me and reassure me. I'll never forget the times you came to watch me play sports and the times you came to watch me win. I'll never forget the moments you had to be a tough love parent in order to teach me a lesson and make me a better person.
I appreciate everything you’ve done for our family. You have consistently demonstrated selflessness by prioritising the needs of others. Thanks for being the amazing mother that you are; I know I'm lucky to have you as a role model.
As such, I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you, Mom, for being the finest there is. I appreciate everything you do for me and love you more than words can say. I pray today is as wonderful as you are, and I can't wait to celebrate many more Mother's Days with you in the years to come.
With deepest affection and appreciation,
Mou

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
