We write to you today with a heavy heart and a humble request.

Our beloved Sangeeta Bhattacharjee Ma'am, who has been the guiding force and nurturing spirit at IIHM for over two decades, has suffered a sudden and life-threatening brain haemorrhage due to a ruptured ACOM aneurysm. The condition is critical.

She is currently undergoing emergency procedures—DSA and Endovascular Coiling—in an effort to stabilize her brain function and save her life. Her road to recovery will be long, and the medical expenses are expected to cross ₹1 crore over the coming year.

In this moment of crisis, we are reaching out to all those whose lives Sangeeta Ma’am has touched—with her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication. A Ketto crowdfunding page has been created to support her treatment.
