📖Free Online Quran Learning Course📖

E-Madrasah is glad to announce a free online Quran learning course on the occasion of Independence day🇮🇳. On the day when our ancestors got freedom from slavery, let us get the freedom from ignorance and bring the change in ourselves as well as in society by learning how to read the words of Allah revealed on Muhammad peace be upon him.

🎯This free course aims to educate people who are unaware to read Quran properly or who do not know to recite it with Tajweed or correct pronunciation.

It has been designed as a crash course for a duration of two weeks, after completing two weeks, we will only allow people who are regular and really eager to learn the Quran reading, moreover, they will get the chance to enrol in other Islamic Studies sessions and courses.

As we believe there should be no gender and age restrictions in learning Quran thus every person can join this golden opportunity.

The First Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah and its Friday
Hafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said:
The Friday between ten days of Dhul-Hijjah is more virtuous than normal Fridays because it combines the virtue of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah along Friday.

What is Zakat

Zakat is paid to purify one's wealth.

It is obligatory only upon those Muslims who possess a certain amount of wealth which is defined as "Nisaab".

The Nisaab can be varied according to the different types of assets or money. Like the Nisaab of gold is 20 Misqaals which is equivalent to 85gms and the Nisaab of silver is 200 Dirhams which is equivalent to 595gms.

With the condition of passing one Hijri year over certain amount.

Therefore the currencies like rupee and dollar are to be counted on the basis of gold or silver and the quarter of the tenth i.e. 2.5% of the total amount must be paid as Zakat.

Zakat can be given to Poor/Faqeers, destitute, people who are employed to collect Zakat, to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined towards Islam, for freeing slaves, to help those burdened with debt, for expenditure in the way of Allah and for a traveller who is cut off from everything.
