From the dignified flag hoisting to the stirring notes of our national anthem, every heartbeat echoed one truth — freedom is our legacy, and protecting it is our duty.

Did you know that India’s first Independence Day celebrations began at the stroke of midnight on August 15, 1947, while the iconic flag hoisting at the Red Fort took place later that same morning?
