✨1. Persuasive writing is used to convince the reader of something. For example, advertisements, business proposals, product reviews all fall under the umbrella of persuasive writing.
✨2. Narrative writing is used to tell a story, and it can take many forms—like a historical account; or a novel.
✨3. Descriptive writing is a style of writing that is detailed and provides concrete information which creates a picture in the reader's mind. Examples are; journaling, travel writing, first-person accounts.
✨4. Expository writing is used to convey facts/information. These can be
to contrast/compare, analyse, or show cause and effect.
