তাই সবারে করি আহ্বান, আমাদের ডাকে সাড়া দিয়ে আপনারাও মুক্ত মনে গ্রহণ করুন আমাদের মুক্তমনাকে, আর ছড়িয়ে দিন আরো সবার মাঝে।

Today is Mother's Day as well as Birthday of Rabindranath Tagore.

Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Mother's Day is a celebration on Second Sunday of May honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

Rabindranath was a Bengali polymath who reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism. Author of Gitanjali and its "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse". He became the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. His compositions were chosen by two nations as national anthems: India's Jana Gana Mana and Bangladesh's Amar Shonar Bangla. Also, The Sri Lankan national anthem was inspired by his work.
