Shreya Pal, a 7th Semester Zoology Major student of Hiralal Mazumdar Memorial College for Women, has prepared this video on insect pinning with remarkable patience, sincere effort and genuine passion for the subject.
Her work is a beautiful example of how practical learning becomes meaningful when a student approaches a subject with curiosity, dedication and love for Zoology. More than simply demonstrating a technique, Shreya has taken the initiative to learn, practise and share her knowledge with others.
Such efforts deserve appreciation because one student's passion can become another student's inspiration. May her dedication encourage more students to explore Entomology not merely as a syllabus topic, but as a field full of opportunities in taxonomy, biodiversity, ecology, agriculture, conservation, museum studies and scientific research.
