On that occation, an expert is also coming to give us some information and awareness facts about HIV AIDS. All are requested to be present and participate in the programme. This is Bidisha Chakraborty Dept. of English Honours, Women's Christian College, Kolkata
She is seriously ill and is in a very critical condition. At first she was admitted to Beleghata id hospital with some skin rashes, lung infection and eye infection. She was treated in the ICU for almost two days. Then due to the deterioration in her condition she was taken to NRS hospital. There due to lack of convenience for treating such a disease, she was admitted to Apollo. The doctors there informed that she is suffering from one of the rarest skin disease called the STEVENS JOHNSON SYNDROME. It is a peculiar disease in which the patient looks like a burnt person. And the epidermal skin layer keeps degenerating until the formation of new skin takes place. This entire process is quite time consuming and expensive too. In 7days only the hospital bill has amounted to more than 7lakhs. Every week she has to be taken to the OT for the process of washing and dressing and each OT cost is 1.25 Lakhs. Her family seems to be very much worried regarding the financial issue. So, I would like to request all to contribute as much as you can financially.
