After training IELTS students for more than 300 hours, I keep reminding all the examinees please practice the whole paer & especially task 2 with a stopwatch.
Every single essay you write, each section of reading you answer, PLEASE time yourself, from day 1.
Even though you might have the most cohesive organised style of writing in Task 2, though your appropriateness of lexical resources may earn everybody’s appreciation & you might have used the entire grammatical range; but......IF you run out of time, you may just miss the bus.
