BCDA College of Pharmacy & Technology, Hridaypur, Barasat organised the Phase I – Written Screening Round of the Ei Samay College Debate – Season II on 16 September 2026 at the Institute campus.
A total of 30 students participated in the screening round, presenting their views For or Against the Motion. The participants were evaluated by neutral judges based on their logical reasoning, relevance, clarity and quality of arguments.
Following the evaluation, 10 best-performing students were shortlisted for the next stage. From these 10 shortlisted participants, 4 top students will represent the Institute at the District Finale to be organised by the Ei Samay Group.
The remaining 6 shortlisted students will also be honoured with Certificates of Appreciation by Ei Samay Group at the District Finale.
The programme provided students with an excellent platform to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, communication and debating skills, while encouraging healthy intellectual competition.
The Institute congratulates all the shortlisted participants and wishes the selected representatives success at the District Finale.
