The Heritage School

25th June. This is the Foundation Day of the School. This was celebrated with a lot of solemnity and gratitude by the teachers, students and authorities of the school. Panditji, Shri Nachiketa Upadhyay performed the Havan which was accompanied by religious songs. Our trustees, Shri Jaideep Chitlangia and his wife graced the occasion.
• The invocation song, “Oi Ujjwala Din” was performed by students of Class 8
• The invocation dance was set to the number “Nostalgia” by Ananda Shankar and was performed by students of Class 7.

At The Heritage School, a lot of emphasis is laid on the complete development of the body, mind and spirit. Students are exposed to classical dance forms from an early age. Bharatnatyam, an ancient form of 'Natya Yoga' is taught from an early age. This genre of dance has evolved over the years demonstrating extremely graceful movements, where Bhava (emotion), Raga (music), Taal (Rhythm) and Natya (drama) combine to create an artistic rhapsody.
