You are a cosmic traveler now,
exploring the vastness of the universe.
You are one with the stars
Yet you live on within me.
Every time I am on a plane
✈️ I feel closer to you.
May you fly freely
From one mountain top to another
May you roll over deserts and plains
On different planets through
Multiverses.
Death does not limit you
It only freed you
From the shackles of the
Limiting physical body.
You are unlimited now.
Infinite.
You watch over me and
Guide me constantly.
Yet I miss you so much.
On days like this.
I’m grateful to have had
a father like you.
Thank you for teaching me
The meaning of life.
For teaching me to embrace
Every moment and
find meaning as if it were the last.

La Martiniere for Boys school Kolkata remembers Dr RN Mukherjee with a medal in his name for the highest scorer in ISC Maths and Computers.
The first time this award was presented was on prize day - 5th of May 2023, ( cinco de mayo) which was also an auspicious day of Buddha purnima. What better day to remember a Guru? One of the medalists was the son of a dear ex student. It could not have been more apt!
