I sketch/paint from photographs, so all I need is a photo of whatever you want me to sketch. However my forte is in sketching portraits. I use only graphite pencils and for painting I use only oil paints. My choice of paper is Strathmore Bristol Vellum series and Reflex C-grain. For paintings I use linen canvas. For pencils I prefer Koh-I-Noor and General's Kimberly over other brands because of their even texturing capabilities and soft feel while sketching. my style is painting is somewhere between realistic and impressionistic.

Finally the 2025-26 session concluded with the result announcement. The small event at our Newtown centre observed marksheet and reward felicitation to all the students who appeared for the annual examination on 12.04.2026.

Three of the students excelled with skill, dedication, eagerness to learn and discipline. Poonam Srivastava had excelled with dedication and discipline. Vansh Gupta had excelled with skill and eagerness to learn. Deeptimayee Dash had excelled in all of those parameters. Dipayan Ghosh, Anaya Patra and Aviraj Singh had performed well. Our youngest student Spriha Mukherjee had shown amazing calibre and performed beyond her age. We wish all of them a bright future ahead and very good luck for the next year's examination.

Thanks to all the parents for believing in us. This is an amazing journey for us.

Today was the examination day at AJSAC. Srudents tested the length and strength of their learnings of the past 1 year. We were graced by the presence of Artist and educator Sri Biswajit Nath as the external examinerappointed by board. The examination process is completed in due time with constructive feedback from the examiner.

Those who wish to get evaluated on their art skills, connect with us. Various training modules with yearly evaluation are available in our school. Registration going on for all centres in Newtown, VIP road and Khardah

A recent work of mine for a client from Kolkata. He wanted his parents' photo to be sketched in a specific manner. The reference was a "random click" according to him, in his house some years back. He didn't want anything to be changed and kept it as it is. His testimonial through WhatsApp chats are attached as well. I am happy to have been a part of his good memories.

সরস্বতী পুজো, ১৪৩২

The auspicious day of paying our respect and humble offering to the goddess of knowledge and merit, Goddess Saraswati. The day is celebrated at AJSAC with students and their parents along with our friends and visitors offering "anjali" (অঞ্জলী) to the deity. The puja ended with relishing prasad and bhog. Our principal and founder Arijit Chakraborty had played the role of purohit to perform the rituals.
