Demonstration of anatomy after portal lymph node dissection in case of gallbladder bladder cancer.

The anterior division of internal iliac artery and illustration of two of its branches
1.Uterine artery
2.Superior hypogastric artery
Note internal iliac artery with its anterior and posterior division supply pelvic viscera and pelvic side wall.
During exsanguinating hemorrhage like in case of pelvic trauma or postpartum haemorrhage ligation of the anterior division can be life saving.
This particular case was a patient of ca cervix..I dissected out the branches to demonstrate it to my students.
I hope it might be useful to others as well.
