This activity is about much more than counting.
The oysters and fish reconnect children with the marine life they explored during Blue Day.
The paper boats remind them of the paper-folding activity where they learned to make their own boats.
And as they float their boats on water, they connect it to the rainy season, which is part of our current theme.
