AWS Cloud Club Inauguration – Event Summary

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering, Salokhenagar successfully organized the AWS Cloud Club Inauguration on Monday, 13th April 2026.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Patil from KNOE-IT and CDAC ACTS Pune, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was conducted in the presence of Campus Director Dr. Abhijit Mane Sir, Principal Dr. Suresh Mane, Administrative Officer Mr. Suyog Patil, Dr. Mahesh Gaikwad (Head of CSE Department), and Mr. Rohit Raut (Head of Data Science Department).

The event was coordinated by Ms. Vanashri Shinde, Faculty Coordinator of the AWS Cloud Club, with active support from Tushar Kumbhar, AWS Student Captain.

The primary objective of the inauguration was to introduce students to AWS Cloud technologies and promote hands-on learning in cloud computing. During the session, Mr. Amit Patil shared valuable insights on cloud platforms, AWS services, career opportunities, and the importance of industry-oriented skills.

The AWS Cloud Club aims to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in cloud computing using platforms like Amazon Web Services. It focuses on providing hands-on experience through projects, workshops, and real-world applications. The club also prepares students for industry certifications and career opportunities while promoting innovation, teamwork, and professional networking.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, faculty members, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event a grand success.
