“Teaching is the noble art of building character, igniting curious minds, and quietly shaping a nation within the walls of a classroom.”

The Rotary Club of Gargis stepped in to celebrate the true architects of our institution, reminding us how meaningful it is when genuine dedication finds heartfelt recognition. A warm note of gratitude to Club President Savita Pade, Secretary Rtn. Seema Malani, Rtn. Vishakha Apte, and our trustee and fellow Rotarian Shobha Tawade Ma'am for honoring our mentors with such grace and dignity.
We stand firm with pride as our exceptional teachers take their well-deserved place in the spotlight:

Mrs. Asha Anand
Mrs. Manisha Kulkarni
Smt. Jyoti Desai
Mrs. Vaishnavi Fadate
Mrs. Vijayanta Chopade
Mrs. Gauri Magar

Behind every achievement in our halls stands their unwavering guidance.

Thank you to our teachers for holding up the mirror until your students could see the strength within themselves. And to the Rotary Club of Gargis, thank you for ensuring that this noble journey is celebrated as it truly deserves to be.

♻️ E-Waste Awareness Programme at Buds International School 🌱

Buds International School, in association with Pruthvi Zero Waste Foundation and Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, organised an insightful E-Waste Awareness Programme for our students and staff.

The session was conducted by Mr. Himanshu Lele, who sensitised students and staff about the growing problem of electronic waste, its harmful impact on the environment, and the importance of responsible e-waste collection, segregation, recycling and disposal. 🌍♻️

The programme also introduced the “E-Waste Recycling Warrior Contest 2026 – Kolhapur”, encouraging students to move beyond awareness and become active E-Waste Recycling Warriors in their homes, school and community.

The initiative aims to nurture environmentally responsible citizens and inspire collective action towards a cleaner, greener and sustainable Kolhapur. 🌿💚

👏 We sincerely thank Mr. Himanshu Lele, Pruthvi Zero Waste Foundation and Kolhapur Municipal Corporation for this valuable initiative and for empowering our students to become responsible stewards of our planet.

Let’s Reduce • Reuse • Recycle • Reimagine! ♻️🌎

Building life-saving skills while creating empathetic classroom spaces!

A specialized training session was conducted at the Scouts and Guides District Office, Kolhapur, bringing together Troop Leaders, Assistants, teachers, and students from schools across the district.

Guided by Kavita Ma'am and her team, the workshop combined rigorous field skills with vital social awareness:

First Aid & Practical Field Craft: Mastering functional knotting techniques like the reef knot, essential bandage styles (triangular, spiral, pressure wraps), and swift emergency stretcher assembly.

Teacher Sensitization Module: Dedicated interactive activities for educators to unpack distorted definitions of beauty, dismantle everyday appearance biases, and actively eliminate negative body talk in school corridors.

Equipping our school community with physical preparedness and emotional empathy ensures truly safe learning spaces. Heartfelt thanks to Kavita Ma'am and every participating teacher and student leader for such an enriching exchange!
