It's time to raise a toast.
Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School in asociation with the Office of Development Commission ( Handicraft ) , Ministry of Textile, Govt. Of India , proudly organizes Craft Awareness Programmes" at our school from 6th to 8th Jan, 2022. It was for the first time in the history of Kolhapur, such kind of grand event was organised at school level. The main motto of the program is to spread awareness among the school children about the great potential hidden in handicraft industry. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Textile Ministry where expert artisans gave live demonstration of their skills before the children and taught them basic lessons of making Craft items. The programme was inaugurated by Hon Dhairyasheel Mane, Member of the Parliament . After lighting the lamp, the Chief Guest garlanded the photo of our beloved founder Hon. Dr Patangrao Kadam saheb. Hon Chandrashekhar Singh, AD, HSC, Textile Ministry narrated the objectives of the program Hon Dr H M Kadam sir, the Regional Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune graced the program with his presence. Mrs Naseema Rahuman, The Principal of our school welcomed the guests and felicitated the guests.
The speech given by the Chief Guest was indeed wonderful. He inspired the students to understand the importance of EARN AND LEARN. By sharing many examples, he explained the importance of innovativeness and creativity. He motivated the students to mould themselves as a role model for others.
The heads of different institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Kolhapur were also present for the occasion. In the second half , a Drawing Competition was organised for the students of standard ninth. Many artists were invited for the occasion. They displayed the stalls of hand made products. Local news channel reports were also present to cover the event. It was really a very grand event.

The dawn of 9th March filled every heart of Bharati Family with utmost reverence and gratitude while paying homage to our benovalent founder Hon Dr Patangrao Kadam sir on his 3rd Death Anniversary. Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School, Kolhapur saluted this luminary who have kindled many lives, prospered many fields and transformed society by all means. In the morning assembly a floral tribute was offered to his photograph followed by speeches by Mrs Vanashri Kulkarni and the Principal Mrs Urmila Shinde. His life is a lesson for the entire human race.

A woman enacts many roles in her lifetime. She is flawlessly fierce, boundlessly beautiful and powerfully perfect. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School Kolhapur dignified HER persona by honouring her life. An interview of successful mother-parents who have been involved in income generating activities was organized. Around 15 mother-parents graced the occasion. They vented out their journey by explaining their challenges. Each voice had a different story to tell. While narrating their experiences, they seemed self-motivated and confident. Through their chat they imparted lessons of life to our children. The main motto of the program is to acclode her contribution in nation building

Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School, Kolhapur calebrated 145th Birth Anniversary of one of the greatest social reformers and wandering peripatetic mendicant saints Sant Gadage Maharaj. Mr Jadhav Sir and Mr Mansing Sir garlanded the photo of the crusader of cleanliness. Hon.
Principal Mrs Urmila Shinde Madam, Mrs Rama Prabhugaonkar and Mrs Jayashree Kamat addressed the students inculcating the principles of cleanliness of Sant Gadage Maharaj with examples of Karmayoga and biography of this great campaigner. According to the Govt. Circular students of STD-VIII to X participated in Cleanliness Drive in the school campus.
