Today Women & Child Dev. Dept., Kokrajhar in collaboration with ITI, Kokrajhar has organised an exposure event among the female students of class Nine & class Eleven with a view to aware the importance of Skill training and career counseling. The Deputy commissioner Kokrajhar was the chief guest and the Deputy Superintendent of police, Kokrajhar was the guest of honour. Both the dignitaries interacted with the students and delivered their valuable advice on how to become self dependent in life through general and skill education.

On the eve of , the Hon'ble Chief of BTR, Sri. Promod Boro, launched the official website (www.seedbtr.com) and logo of the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), Govt of BTR, part of the 100 Days, 150 Targets vision, on at ITI, Kokrajhar.

The official website will be of immense help to the students by listing the various vocational & skill development courses being offered by various ITIs of BTR along with information on various schemes.

On the occasion, distributed Toolkits to 1,175 Self-Employed Trained candidates under SEED Mission and awarded prizes to the winner of the SEED Logo Competition.

Today's event also featured a sensitization programme on various MSME schemes by Dept of Industry & Commerce, along with a Loan Mela by various nationalised & regional banks.

MLA Sri. Lawrence Islary , EMs Shri Wilson Hasda & Shri Reo Reoa Narzihary along with senior officials joined on the occasion.

Felicitation of 94 nos. ITI passed trainees on their selection in the campus placement of Anvil cables pvt Ltd & ITC Ltd organised at ITI, Kokrajhar. Sri. Promod Boro , Hon'ble CEM BTC, was the chief guest and other dignitaries of SEED, BTC were present in this occasion.
