We are delighted to share the joyful moment of the inauguration of our newly built school auditorium 🏫✨, graciously inaugurated by our respected RED Sir, Sri Arindam Sinha, along with HOP Sir, Sri Arnab Maitra🎀. Their esteemed presence and encouragement made the occasion truly memorable 🌸.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude 🙏 to them for inaugurating this important facility, which marks a significant milestone in the growth of our school 🌱📘. The auditorium has been created with the vision of providing a common platform for students and teachers to explore their talents 🎭🎶, express creativity 🎨, and engage in meaningful learning beyond the classroom 📚💡.

Our school proudly hosted a Science Exhibition, which turned out to be a grand celebration of curiosity, creativity, and innovation 🚀🧠. The exhibition showcased a wide range of impressive models and experiments prepared by our talented students, reflecting their scientific temper and critical thinking skills.
The exhibition was graciously inaugurated by Mr. Arnab Mitra, who honored the occasion as the Chief Guest 🎉🎀. His presence added great value to the event and inspired the young scientific minds. The programme was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Amit Kumar Asthana, AGM, HR, and our respected Principal Sr. Manju Joseph, whose encouragement and support motivated both students and teachers to strive for excellence 🌸✨.

Our school had the privilege of hosting a training session conducted by CBSE 🎓 on Learning Outcomes and Pedagogy, aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching and learning 🏫📖. The session focused on adopting 21st-century teaching methodologies 🌍💡, emphasizing learner-centric approaches 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫, competency-based education 🎯, and effective classroom practices 📝.
The resource persons guided teachers on aligning lesson planning with clearly defined learning outcomes 🗂️✔️, integrating innovative pedagogical strategies 🤝💭, and using assessment as a tool for continuous improvement 📊🔍. The session also highlighted the importance of critical thinking 🤔, creativity 🎨, collaboration 🤝, and communication 🗣️ in today’s classrooms.
Overall, the programme was highly enriching 🌟 and empowered teachers with practical insights to improve classroom engagement 👏 and ensure the holistic development of students 👦👧 in line with CBSE guidelines 📜✅.

Our school campus turned into a happy food carnival during the Bihu Celebration! 🎉🍽️ From Nursery to Class X, our little ones excitedly brought delicious pitha and different food items from home and shared them with their friends. 😋🫶 The joy on their faces while tasting different foods was truly priceless! ✨

A big shoutout to our wonderful teachers 👩‍🏫👏 for guiding the children, arranging everything so neatly, and making sure the event ran smoothly.

And a special heartfelt thanks to our amazing guardians 💖🙏 for making this day possible by preparing and sending such tasty food. Your effort and support made the celebration a grand success! 🍛❤️

DMIT Awareness Cum Seminar at Notre Dame Academy, NTPC, Salakati

Notre Dame Academy, NTPC, Salakati successfully organized a DMIT Awareness Cum Seminar on 10th January 2026 , with the aim of creating awareness about Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) and its role in understanding students’ innate abilities, learning styles, and career orientation.
The seminar was conducted by the esteemed members of Team RRR Foundation, whose expertise in the field of education and student guidance enriched the programme. The distinguished resource persons for the day were Dr. R. N. Sinha, Chief Advisor and Expert and Dr. R. K. Narzary, Advisor and Expert. Their presence added immense value to the event and provided meaningful insights to students, parents, and teachers alike.

The session focused on helping learners recognize their natural strengths, multiple intelligences, and potential career paths. The speakers explained the scientific basis of DMIT in a clear and engaging manner, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and informed decision-making in academic and professional life.

As a gesture of respect and appreciation, the honoured guests were felicitated by the school authorities. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff members, making it a truly enlightening experience for all.
The seminar concluded on a positive note, leaving the participants better informed and motivated to explore their wards abilities and plan their future with confidence.

Notre Dame Academy proudly organised an exciting Sports Event on 20th December 2025, filled with energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship! 💪🎉Students from junior and senior wings participated enthusiastically in Football, Kabaddi, and Kho-Kho competitions. ⚽🤼‍♂️🏃‍♀️
It was wonderful to see our young athletes showcasing their talent and team spirit with passion and joy! 🌟👏A big round of applause to all participants and winners for making the day truly memorable! 🥇🎖️🏅
