The Department of Sociology, KROS College, attended the 5th Indigenous Food Fest organised by the Department of Sociology Don Bosco College, Kohima on August 29, 2026.

Mrs. Tepuhopino Kikhi, Assistant Professor & HoD, was invited as Special Invitee, where she shared insights on the importance of indigenous food.

The Department of Education, KROS College participated in an Inter-Collegiate Event organised by the Department of Education, Don Bosco College, Kohima, on August 29, 2026 under the theme "Wisdoms of Ancestors; Minds of Tomorrow.”

As part of the cultural exchange, students from the Department presented an Ao folk fusion.

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, KROS College, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Imagi.NATION on September 1, 2026.

On 31st of September, 2026, the CAG–ICSSR Colloquium, Nagaland Chapter, brought together voices and perspectives to deliberate on the State of Finances of Nagaland and Public Health Infrastructure and Management of Primary Health Services in Nagaland at AGOK Badze, Multi- Utility Centre, Meriema, Kohima.

Altogether, 30 students and 2 faculty members from KROS College attended the programme, gaining valuable insights through the engaging discussions and exchange of ideas. Their participation was a wonderful opportunity to connect academic learning with important conversations on public policy, governance, and development.

KROS College organised Internship for the Department of Education (5th Semester students) at the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland.

During the internship, students received practical training in employment services, job seeker registration, and the implementation of skill development initiatives such as PMKVY and SANKALP, along with entrepreneurship development programs.

The program provided significant exposure to government administrative procedures and enhanced the students’ competencies in communication, teamwork, organizational management, and professional practice. It served to integrate academic knowledge in Education with practical experience in a government setting.

The KROS family congratulates Mr. Pakholu of 5th Semester (Department of English) for securing the 2nd Prize in the Elocution Competition.
