India has over a million public schools. Most of the children who need education the most study in them.
is a people’s movement working to make every one of those schools genuinely future-ready — bringing together governments, teachers, communities, and civil society to reimagine what a public school can be.
In March, that conversation came to Nagaland.
The Northeast Shiksha Samvaad, held at brought together educators, school leaders, and grassroots changemakers from across the region to ask a question that doesn’t get asked enough here: what does future-ready learning actually look like for children in the Northeast?
We took that question straight to two of our panelists.
