🇮🇳 Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom at BGV Kodaikanal 🇮🇳
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram, Kodaikanal with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The celebrations commenced with a grand March Past by the four Sangams – Chera, Chola, Pallava, and Pandya, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal and the singing of the Flag Song.
Students delivered inspiring speeches in English, Tamil, and Hindi. The Principal addressed the gathering of students, parents, and teachers and emphasized the importance of every student’s role in realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The cultural programme was the highlight of the day. It included skits, patriotic songs, dances, and a delightful fancy dress competition by the tiny tots of Grades 1 to 5, who came dressed as freedom fighters and national leaders.
The programme concluded on a sweet and patriotic note with the distribution of laddoos to all students, parents, and teachers.
