Cusat Launchpad is a Non-Profit Organisation working for the development of entrepreneurial culture among cusat community.

The aim of CUSAT Launchpad, is to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and innovation among the cusat community which include faculty, students and alumina together. Launched by the students, the platform aims at bridging the growing gap between the outdated syllabus and the industrial technology. Centred around talks, seminars and other events.

CUSAT LAUNCHPAD IEDC invites applications for this year’s innovative projects…

Five student business ideas (innovative ideas) will be selected for a funding of Rs 1 Lac for each project. Once shortlisted you will be asked to present a basic business plan. The business plan presentation will be followed by a personal interview. Our selection team will gauge your entrepreneurial appetite and make final selections

Who can apply?
Every student of CUSAT and its affiliated institutions are eligible to apply for the programme. Innovators exploring Innovative ideas.
How to apply?
The application is invited team wise. Every team must have a mentor. A Mentor can be a Professor at your institution who can guide you throughout the project. All the interaction between IEDC and a selected team will be via Team Mentor. The applications are to be mailed to [email protected]. The guidelines for submission are given below. The applications should reach on or before 17/10/2017
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF DETAILS OF THE STUDENT PROJECT
The applications should have submit the complete details about the project, the financial requirement and the possible market for the product. The project information may cover the following aspects:
1. THE BUSINESS
The product/service/idea. The technology behind the product of the service Possible innovation at a later stage Scalability The market (the size of the market and its growth potential)
2. THE TEAM
Brief description of each member of the team stating qualification and other details Mention whether any mentor has been identified or not? Mention whether any preliminary discussion has been done with the mentor? Mention whether any of the team members participated in any entrepreneurship related programmes
3. THE SUPPORT SYSTEM
Is the host institution capable of supporting the team in the project Does the host institution have necessary equipments and hardware for the development of the project and subsequent testing.
4. THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT
The cost of purchase of raw materials .The cost of contingencies Product development cost and Any other expenditure
