കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞു. ഓരോ പൌണ്ട് പിരിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം. ഷാ അര പൌണ്ട് തന്നാലും മതി. പള്ളീലോന്നും വരാറില്ലല്ലോ.
ഷാ എണീറ്റു.
സംഘം പിന്നോട്ട് ഒരു ചുവടു വച്ചു.
ഷാ അകത്തേക്ക് പോയി.
തോക്കെടുക്കാനാണ്. സ്ഥലം വിട്ടേക്കാം.
സംഘം തിരിഞ്ഞു നടക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
ഗേറ്റിനടുത്തെത്തിയപ്പോൾ പുറകിൽ നിന്ന് ആരോ കൈകൊട്ടുന്നു.
ഷായാണ്.
"വരൂ."
ഭാഗ്യം. വെടി കിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല സംഭാവന കിട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യും.
"ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്റെ സംസ്കാരം നടത്തണമെന്നല്ലേ പറഞ്ഞത്?"
"അതെ"
ഒരു പൌണ്ട് ആണ് ആവശ്യം, അല്ലെ?"
"അതെ."
ഇതാ രണ്ടു പൌണ്ട് ഉണ്ട്. കിട്ടുമെങ്കിൽ ഒരെണ്ണത്തിനെക്കൂടി സംസ്കരിക്കൂ."
