It is said that the performance of an artist on the stag is not only viewed by the audience seated in the front,
"Natya" is even enjoyed by the deities above who then shower down their blessings. Hence an artist is considered to be the favorite one of the Lords and his God given talent can be brought into the light only by the guidance of an eminent "Guru". NRITHAKAIRALI is such an institution, rendering invaluable services to Indian Classical Dance forms. Established by our guru Smt.Kalamandalam Mani and inaugurated the same year by Sri.Chowallur Krishnannkutty, then Vice Chairman of Kerala Kalamandalam, this institute has made valuable contributions to the cultural facet of the rising metro - "Cochin”! Nrithakairali was mainly designed to train dancers with perfection in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniaattam and Kuchipudi styles of dancing under the most able guidance of our Mani teacher(as we fondly call her ! )

As one of the senior students of this institution and also a true patron of arts, I hereby open this page for the alumni, existing students, parents and anyone who enjoys and respect the richness in the Indian Classical dance forms and culture and to keep all updated about anything and everything about the school.

Hello everyone,

Hope you and your families are doing well! It's been two years since we started planning the school's anniversary event but unfortunately, COVID was at its peak then and it prevented us from going forward with it. It was a difficult couple of years for most of the professions and our beloved art indeed saw some lows.

It gives us relief to see that things seem to be shaping up recently. With the whole world opening up, we are positive about the road ahead and keep our wonderful community in our prayers as always!

Anniversary or not, the passion of Nrithakairali and Smt. Kalamandalam Mani to spread the love for dance knows no bounds!
