The results of the first edition of 'The Inquizition Open Quiz ' conducted by Quizzat quiz club in association with the annual Dhishna 17, the annual Tech Fest of School of Engineering, CUSAT on October 7, 2017.

1st position : Sreeram & Vishnu V - with 125 points (Open Team) :- With a fantastic finish, the experienced quizzing duo lead the competition, to be crowned as the first champion of 'The Inquizition Quiz' .

2nd: Anand Rajagopal & Nandana Sony - with 115 points (BVM Elamakkara :- A terrific performance by the school team lead to a sensational second prize win

3rd: Shibin Azad & Rahul Varma - with 105 points (Open Team)
Finishing close behind, 'Ashaan' and Rahul grabbed the final prize position to round of a memorable podium line up.

The prelims were topped by Sreeram and Vishnu V with 22 1/2 points out of a possible 30 points.

The cutoff for the prelims was 12 points with the selected 5 teams joining the 3 preselected school teams in the finals.

Quizzat quiz club is hosting the Kochi regional for Enigma 2017, the national general college quiz of Bits Pilani Hyderabad Campus in Schoool of Engineering, CUSAT
Tomorrow. 10:00 am.
Teams of 2
School students allowed.
Lone wolves allowed.
Top 2 teams qualify for the national finals with prize money being over Rs.80k.

To all those quizzer's out there , we present in front of you "The Inquizition" quiz competition

*Registration fees for prelims is Rs 50 per head*

*Rules*
1)The preliminary round is exclusively for school students studying in classes from 7th and above
2)The number of members in a team should be two
3)It will be a written round consisting of 32 questions
4)In order to resolve ties there will be 8 starred questions and 5 two point questions
4)This is a general quiz and will include questions from science and technology, current affairs, sports, history, entertainment etc
5)A valid Photo Identity Card provided by the school of the participant should be produced at the venue
6)In addition to prizes awarded at the prelims, the top three teams will qualify directly to the finals of 'The Inquizition Quiz' being held on October as part of Dhishna 2017, Tech Fest of the School of Engineering, CUSAT
7)Each school can send a maximum of 5 teams

Now that was a blast of a quiz!! We thank The quizmaster,Mr Ramakrishnan M. N of the School of Legal studies, CUSAT for graciously accepting our request to host the 'Fresher's quiz 2016' and for hosting it with all the passion of a seasoned quizmaster!
