We often wait for systems to change, education, workplaces, governance. But what if meaningful change begins with us and the learners around us?

Join us at Bhoomi Learning Community for an immersive, hands-on workshop on Facilitating a Learning Environment.

Through games, reflection, and practical activities, we explore how to step back from “teaching” and instead create spaces where learning becomes natural, intentional, and joyful.

What is Facilitation?
Designing environments rooted in self-direction—where learners set goals, reflect, share, and grow with ownership.

February at Bhoomi
February at Little Bhoomi was all about butterflies. 🦋

The LB children explored butterflies through colours, clay, and nature.

We observed eggs — some brought by Indu and some discovered around us — and watched closely, wondering about tiny life and big transformations.

Clay slowly turned into butterflies and little nature forms, while colours filled our space with wings and imagination.

At the same time, the LC kids were exploring typography — playing with letters, shapes, and how words can become art.

A month of observing, creating, and learning from nature in our own quiet way. 🌿✨

🌱 Holistic Approach to Education – 2-Day Interactive Session 🌱

How can early education truly nurture the mind, heart, and hands of a child?

How can adults become more conscious companions in a child’s journey of growth and learning?

Bhoomi Learning Community warmly invites parents, educators, and caregivers to a 2-day experiential session inspired by the Waldorf approach to education. This session offers a deeper understanding of how children develop, what they truly need at different stages of life, and how we can create supportive, humane, and nurturing learning environments.

What we will explore:
• Child development from a holistic perspective
• Insights into Steiner philosophy and Waldorf education
• Conscious ways of engaging with young children – what to do and what to avoid
• Creating spaces that nourish imagination, emotional wellbeing, and natural learning

‘Bhoomi Kids Market Day’

Paint on cheeks, colours on walls,
tables slowly turning into stalls,
and children everywhere busy, proud, curious.

Some sold little things,
some explained big ideas,
some simply enjoyed being part of it all.

Friends helped friends.
Grown-ups watched, smiled, and joined in.
The space filled with chatter, laughter, and colour.

Alongside the market, many beautiful moments unfolded nature photography with
a session with that helped adults relax and laugh together,
wall painting with where kids and adults explored freely, and a clay session with that brought calm hands and happy faces. We closed the day with a beautiful ceremony by .i.m.i.m.a.r.y , bringing everyone together in the most gentle way. 🌿✨

No rush.
No perfect plan.
Just a day made by children — and shared by everyone. 💛🌈

This week at Bhoomi
A home, away from home.

The December theme for LB is Christmas 🎄
Monday began with tiny Christmas songs and lots of colour play.

Tuesday took a pause because of the election.
When we reopened on Wednesday, Louis and Sita joined us. From that day on, they became part of our Christmas rhythm, helping us decorate for Christmas and the kids’ Market Day. ✨

Thursday turned into pasta day. Little hands shaped their own pasta while Louis and Sita patiently showed how pasta can be made from scratch.

Parents joined in too — with a little election talk, a little philosophy, and plenty of smiles. 🙂

A calm, festive week of songs, colours, visitors, pasta, and conversations — just the way December feels. 🌿🎄

“This week at Bhoomi”

Monday began with the LC kids roaming around with scales, measuring anything they saw the floor, tables, even each other.

Abhiram spent the whole week with us, and the kids learned how to fold paper into birds, stars, boxes and all kinds of tiny creations. Wherever he sat, there was a little paper workshop happening.

Jubly came for a day, touched the clay, and the kids immediately gathered around her. With her, they shaped clay into their favourite creatures elephants, tiny animals, silly shapes and things only kids can imagine.

Then someone said, “What about the wall?”
And just like that, the wall became a mini clay gallery.

A week of measuring, folding, shaping and lots of joyful mess. 🌿✨

Last Week at Bhoomi 🌿✨
From seesaws to swings, what seemed impossible on Monday turned into magic by Thursday.

Charlie built, kids helped, Clarissa added stories and crafts, music filled the room, and the French crumble cake vanished in minutes. 🍰🎶

Sweet goodbye cards, full hearts, happy week.

🌿 This Week at Bhoomi — Welcoming New Friends

On Monday, we met Charlie, Anne-Sophie, little Kymani, and little Yoni for a brief visit.
By Tuesday, they were fully in our daily rhythm — starting the day with circle time, our welcome song, and everyone sharing their names. ✨

They introduced us to a bunch of card games, and one day felt too short for all the fun.
On Tuesday, we had a joyful acrosport session, while Kymani and Yoni quickly became friends with all our Bhoomi kids. 🤸‍♂️💛

By Wednesday and Thursday, the play only grew bigger — more laughter, more games, and new friendships blooming.

And on Thursday, they taught us one of their local games, which became an instant favourite!
A beautiful week of connection, shared joy, and learning through play. 🌿💛
