With the wrapping up of the closing ceremony on the 2nd day ,NCSMUN'16 came to an end. Three committee sessions preceded the valedictory function where the delegates were awarded for their efforts and the chairpersons, secretariat and faculty were acknowledged for their roles in making the conference as incredible as it was. Major thanks to all who came and we hope to see you all again next year !

And with that the first day of The NCSMUN'16 has come to an end. The delegates all did a good job and constantly kept us entertained with their shenanigans, be it dancing, rapping or delivering the funniest chits during commitee moreover some debates and questions raised were enough to keep us hooked on!Keep up the good works delegates!!

Nikhil Mahadeva
He is an avid speaker in every sense of the word.
Hailing from the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka(and also Trivandrum), Nikhil has made a name for himself in debating, mooting and MUNning. From being a previous member of the Sri Lankan National Debating Pool, ranked All Island 9th, to being one of the best ICJ delegates in Sri Lanka, with a plethora of awards from some of the oldest and largest MUNs in the world, including SLMUN and COMUN.
He is currently a 2nd year student at Kochi's own National University of Advanced Legal Studies and has proved his speaking chops at the university level as well, breaking at the GLC Bombay PD tied for 3rd, and breaking to semi finals at the Lex Fortissimus Company Law Moot, all in his first year.

1. Participated for 14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competitions- National Zonal Rounds – Chennai -2014.
2. .Participated for CMR IV National Moot Court Competition held at Bengaluru -2014.
3. Participated for Trial Advocacy Competition held at Government Law College- Calicut-2016.
4. Best Speaker/ Counsel Award for the 2nd SILT Internal Moot-2016
He had also attended National Conference on Human Rights organized by Centre for Human Rights-HRLN-2016 and participated for AEQUITAS’15 ECOSOC Model United Nations Conference-2015.
