This month we are exploring the natural world while rooting in our core value: Honesty.

During our leaf activity, the children practiced looking closely at nature exactly as it is. Just like every leaf has its own unique, true patterns, we are learning that our words and actions are most beautiful when they are genuine and true.

Through exploring textures, sorting shapes, and sharing materials, our little ones are discovering how to be honest with themselves and gentle with each other. We are so proud of how they are growing!

We are wrapping up our weekly theme of independent exploration with our K2 shape-threading activity!

Instead of showing them exactly how to do it, we stepped back. We watched them navigate the strings, figure out the corners, and discover the shapes on their own terms.

This week, our Kindergarten 2 learners are exploring the invisible wonder of wind! But when you see them trying—and trying again—to blow that little ball straight into the cup, they are catching much more than just a breeze.

This is what really blows us away behind the scenes of this playful moment:

Scientific Curiosity: They are feeling how their own breath creates force to move objects.

Breath Regulation: Controlling their airflow teaches them physical awareness and focus.

Determined Focus: Aiming that ball takes patience, trial, error, and lots of giggles!
