Day 1 of the Amrita Online Future Skills Conclave 2026 unfolded as a dynamic exchange between academia, industry, and emerging innovators. The day featured keynote and special addresses by senior academic leaders and industry experts, setting the context for future-ready education in the age of AI and digital transformation. The release of the White Paper on navigating the AI frontier marked a key milestone—offering strategic insights into skills development, research priorities, and evolving learning ecosystems.

Engaging panel discussions brought together leaders from technology, business, entrepreneurship, finance, and education to explore future readiness, workforce transformation, ethical AI, and industry expectations from next-gen professionals. Exclusive parallel strategy sessions enabled deeper dialogue on implementation, leadership, and institutional readiness.
The day concluded with a Flute Meditation, reminding participants that while skills shape careers, stillness shapes clarity. Day 1 was not just about learning new skills—it was about reframing education itself.

Celebrating Excellence at Amrita College of Nursing!

The Health Sciences Campus, Kochi, proudly celebrated the Graduation Day of our nursing students. The event was graced by Sampoojya Swami Poornamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, along with dignitaries Dr. Sona P S (Registrar, Kerala Nurses’ and Midwives’ Council) and Dr. K S Radhakrishnan (Former VC, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit & Former Chairman, Kerala PSC).

The day witnessed inspiring messages from the honorable dignitaries, the traditional Lamp Lighting and Nurses’ Pledge, degree conferrals, and reflections from outgoing students. Dr. Prathapan Nair, Emeritus Professor and Chief Medical Administrator, shared a motivating message with the graduands. The esteemed dignitaries also included Dr. P Krishnakumar, Controller of Examinations; Dr. K.T. Moly, Principal, Amrita College of Nursing; and Prof. Sheela Pavithran, Vice Principal, Amrita College of Nursing.

Heartiest congratulations to our Gold Medalist: Meenakshy M and Silver Medalist: Ranju K Rajesh, along with all our graduates, as they embark on their journey of service, compassion, and care!

College of Nursing welcomed the 24th batch of B.Sc. Nursing students at the Kochi Campus. The inaugural event marked the beginning of an inspiring journey for our 95 new students.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Swami Sri Poornamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, who blessed the students for a bright and successful future. Dr. Prem Nair, Provost & Group Medical Director, Amrita Hospitals, delivered the Presidential Address. Bri. Sai Bala, Nursing Director, Amrita Hospital, Kochi, offered her felicitation, and Dr. K.T. Moly, Principal, College of Nursing, had an interactive session with the students and parents.

As the students embark on this transformative journey, we wish them success, growth, and a fulfilling career in nursing.

Amrita School of Pharmacy welcomed 150 new students from B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D batches at Swagatham 2025 induction ceremony, marking a wonderful beginning to their academic journey. Chief Guest Dr. Sajeev Chandran, Vice President – Pharmaceutical R&D, Lupin Ltd., Pune, encouraged students to pursue research, innovation, and integrity in their professional paths.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed dignitaries including Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math; Dr. Sabitha M, Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy; Dr. Shanti Nair, Associate Provost, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; Mr. N. R. Mohanan, Centre Head and Advisor – Corporate & Industrial Relations, Kochi; Dr. Sreeja C. Nair, Associate Professor, Dr. Saiprabha V. N, Assistant Professor, Amrita School of Pharmacy and Alumni Dr. Vrinda Nampoothiri (Pharm D 2010 batch).

Amrita School of Pharmacy organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 8th to 12th July 2025 in association with Higher Education Skill Development and Research Center (HESDARC) Mysuru. The programme empowered the pharmacy faculty with updated knowledge and hands-on experience in assessment design, MCQ construction and analysis, question bank development, and blueprinting techniques.

On this eve of Guru Purnima, we came together as one family at Amrita kochi Campus to honor our teachers, mentors, and guides — the true beacons of wisdom and compassion. The event echoed spiritual guidance of Amma, our Chancellor Satguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi .

From heartfelt tributes to spiritual reflections, the event served as a reminder of our deep-rooted values and emphasized the sacred bond between students and their teachers.

Dr. Sabitha M, Principal & Professor at Amrita School of Pharmacy, recently visited the University of Iceland under the Erasmus+ Training Program (May 19–24, 2025)

During her enriching visit, Dr. Sabitha engaged in meaningful exchanges with Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy teams, sharing best practices and exploring promising research collaborations. Her lectures on India’s Pharmacy landscape and CNS Drug Delivery strategies opened new avenues for academic collaboration.
