A year back on this very day Kumarji had convinced me that I have to move on and register for a half marathon (21 km) . It was on a similar Sunday that I had covered 24 km for the first time in my life with Soles of Cochin. Coincidentally it was also the day I googled up fitness coach Krishna Mohan. By then I had been running with Soles for around 8 months and wanted a Soles of Cochin tee shirt. I contacted Rameshji who gave it to me. However it got exchanged with another member's from Soles and I got one, two sizes smaller that too a sleeveless one. Later Rameshji checked whether I wanted another one. I told him it's fine I'll keep it. Rameshji at that point told me ' Use it as an inspiration. We runners generally buy one or two sizes smaller. You will also save a lot of money'. I decided to do just that since I was also going to start training under Krishna Mohan.
Today while cleaning up my cupboard I spotted the tee and just tried it on. A journey that will never end. Do I look happier, dare I say more chiseled and brighter?
Months of intensive lifting, kicking, stretching and of course running.
