HSS Palmar celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. Students participated in cultural activities, highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution and the values of unity, integrity, and democracy.

Today on 10-12-2025, new clothing was issued to the NCC cadets at Govt. HSS Palmar. Worthy Principal Sir Mr. Jaffer Hussain along with other staff members distributed the uniforms. The NCC cadets accepted the new clothing with great enthusiasm, marking a fresh boost to their confidence and NCC activities in the school.

*Farewell Ceremony*

A grand and emotional farewell ceremony was organized by the staff members of Government Higher Secondary School, Palmar on 6th December 2025 in honour of the outgoing Principal, Mr. Madan Lal. The programme was beautifully arranged and truly reflected the deep respect, admiration, and gratitude of the entire staff for his remarkable services.

The stage proceedings were gracefully conducted by Mr. Sanjay Kumar, who carried the programme forward with confidence and dignity. Senior staff members shared their heartfelt experiences and praised the Principal for his unwavering dedication, honesty, discipline, and exemplary leadership. They highlighted his immense contribution to the academic and administrative growth of the institution and offered prayers and best wishes for his bright and successful future.

The ceremony turned deeply emotional as many staff members found it difficult to hold back their tears. The atmosphere was filled with a blend of gratitude, pride, and sorrow, reflecting the strong bond shared between the Principal and the school family.

Mr. Madan Lal Sir’s visionary leadership and his ability to create a student-friendly, academically enriching, and professionally vibrant environment stand as a true testimony to his dedication toward meaningful educational transformation.

At the end of the programme, the respected Principal addressed the gathering. In his inspiring speech, he said that transfer is a part of life, but the real duty of a teacher and officer is to perform work with honesty and dedication wherever they are posted. He thanked all staff members for their cooperation, love, and support and encouraged everyone to continue serving the institution with sincerity.

On behalf of the entire school fraternity, I extend my sincere best wishes to Mr. Madan Lal Sir for his new assignment. May he continue to lead with the same zeal, integrity, and vision, inspiring educators and strengthening institutions wherever he serves.

* *Sewa Parv Day 3*

Under Day 3 activities of Sewa Parv on the theme *Hold Disaster Management Drills and Workshops on Fire Safety and Earthquake Preparedness* a special programme was organized at *Government Higher Secondary School Palmar on 19th September 2025.*

The event began with an awareness lecture by *Mr. Mudasir Akbar (Teacher),* who explained the importance of disaster management and the steps to be taken in case of emergencies like fire or earthquake.

After the lecture, practical drills were conducted in which both students and staff actively participated. The drills demonstrated how to respond quickly and safely during fire accidents and earthquakes.

The activity proved to be very useful in building confidence and preparedness among students and staff. The programme was held successfully under the supervision of the *worthy Principal, Mr. Madan Lal, along with staff members.

As per the directions of the higher authorities regarding the celebration of Sewa Parv from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, various activities were organized at GHSS Palmar. The programme was inaugurated with a special assembly under the guidance of the worthy Principal, Mr. Madan Lal.

*On 18th September 2025, a “Say No to Drugs/Tobacco” Campaign* was conducted in the school. As part of this campaign, *poster-making and essay-writing competitions* were held to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of to***co and other addictions.

The event began with a motivational lecture on the theme Say No to Drugs delivered by *Mr. Shabir Sir*. After the lecture, students enthusiastically participated in both *essay writing and *poster-making competitions,* showcasing their creativity and spreading the message against drug abuse.

The *NCC Cadets of GHSS Palmar* also took an active part in this programme and encouraged other students to follow a healthy lifestyle.

The entire activity was conducted successfully under the able guidance of the *worthy Principal, staff members, and the NCC unit of the school.

Afterwards to mark the occasion, a cleanliness drive was carried out in the school premises and surrounding areas. The programme was actively led by the *NCC Cadets of HSS Palmar,* who played a pivotal role in motivating their peers and coordinating the activities.

The entire series of activities was conducted successfully with the *participation of staff, students, and the NCC Unit of GHSS Palmar,* under the close supervision and monitoring of the worthy Principal.

Under the campaign of Tobacco-Free Educational Institution, a rally was organized today at *Government Higher Secondary School Palmar.* The event aimed at spreading awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of to***co and the importance of living a healthy, to***co-free life.

Students, along with staff members, actively took part in the rally with great enthusiasm. The rally was flagged off by Principal Shri Madan Lal who also encouraged the participants with his motivating words. The participants raised slogans against to***co consumption and carried banners displaying strong messages about health and well-being.

The energy and spirit of the students made the program more impactful. The rally not only inspired the school community but also sent a strong message to the public about building a healthier society free from to***co.
