Students of Bharti Vidya Mandir Hr. Sec. School Kishtwar proudly participated in the Tiranga Rally held at Kishtwar, under the able guidance of Sh. Ram Sevak Sharma, Principal of the institution. Students of Bharti Vidya Mandir Hr Sec School Kishtwar actively participated in a Physics practical session, enthusiastically tinkering with mirrors to demonstrate and verify the Laws of Reflection. With great curiosity and hands-on involvement, they explored how incident rays and reflected rays obey these fundamental principles of light. The activity was conducted under the expert guidance of Sh. Deepak Sharma, Lecturer in Physics and ATL Incharge, who encouraged students to learn through experimentation and observation. The session not only strengthened their conceptual understanding but also nurtured their scientific temperament and creativity.

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding success of our Class 10 students in the 2025 Board Exams, achieving an exceptional overall pass percentage of 98.05%! This remarkable performance stands as a shining example of what dedication, discipline, and determination can accomplish.
Out of 154 students, 151 have successfully qualified, with many achieving excellence in academics:

JAMMU: The three-day science workshop for 15 Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATL) Schools of Jammu region was successfully concluded at CSIR-IIIM, Jammu.
A total of 60 students drawn from 15 schools, including Army Public School, Jammu Cantt, Air Force School, Jammu, Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Ambphalla, Jammu, Brahmrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth Sr. Sec. School, Udhampur, Govt. Sri Ranbir Model Hr. Sec. School, Parade, Jammu, GHSS(B), Doda, Bharti Vidya mandir Hr. Sec. School, Kishtwar, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Hiranagar, Sant Bal Yogeshwar Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Dadwara, Billawar, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Reasi, Army Public School, Damana, Muthi, Lotus Model Academy Higher Secondary School, Thathri, Doda, Shaheen Public Higher Secondary School, Doda, Kendriya Vidyalaya DHP, Kistwar & PM Shri KV Miran Sahib, Jammu of grade X-XII along with their faculty members registered for this workshop.
During the workshop, students learned various exhilarating microbiology experiments, including fingerprint microbiology, DNA extraction, milk adulteration, crystallization, TLC/chromatography, acid-base titraction etc., under Dr Sundeep Jaglan, Dr Vikash Babu, Dr. Kanhaiya Kumar, Dr Vinod Kumar of Fermentation and Microbiology Division and Dr. Showkat Rashid, Dr. Ravindra S. Phatake, Dr. Bharitkar Yogesh of Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Division, along with their HoDs Dr. Asha Chaubey and Dr Qazi Naveed Ahmad. Besides this, a lecture was also organized on ‘Lab Safety' which was delivered by
Dr. Ravi Shankar, Principal Scientist of Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Division. The workshop ended with the campus tour, virtual science games and fun activities.
During valedictory function, the participants and their es**rt teachers were felicitated with certificates by Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Director of CSIR-IIIM.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Director, CSIR-IIIM appreciated the keenness and enthusiasm of the students and congratulated them for successfully completing this workshop.
Dr. Ahmed further said that CSIR-IIIM is committed to serve the society and educational institutions in the field of S&T and spreading the word for science. Dr. Ahmed also informed that under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - Atal Incubation Mission (AIM) initiative, NITI Aayog's ATL and CSIR Jigyasa are working for organizing science workshops, interaction with scientists, outreach programmes and many other activities.
Dr. Asha Chaubey, Sr. Principal Scientist, Coordinator of Science workshop and Nodal scientist Jigyasa program briefed about the activities carried out during the workshop and interacted with the students for their valuable feedback and lessons taken from the workshop.
The event was attended by HoDs, scientists, research scholars, students and others. The proceedings of the event were conducted by Dr. Vidushi Abrol.
