Building an Intrusion Detection System at ATL

Students at the Atal Tinkering Lab, Bharti Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar, worked on an innovative Intrusion Detection System using Arduino, an ultrasonic sensor, and other electronic sensors.

Through this hands-on project, students learned how sensors can detect movement or the presence of an object and how Arduino can process sensor inputs to generate an alert. The activity introduced students to the practical applications of electronics, coding, sensors, automation, and security systems.

The project was carried out under the mentorship of Deepak Sharma, Lecturer in Physics and ATL In-charge, encouraging students to develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills through experiential learning.

Arduino Buzzer Interfacing Activity at ATL

Students at the Atal Tinkering Lab, Bharti Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar, explored the basics of Arduino and electronic circuits by interfacing a buzzer using an Arduino board, breadboard, jumper wires, and a 220-ohm resistor. The students programmed the Arduino using the Arduino IDE and learned how to control the buzzer through simple coding.

The activity provided students with hands-on experience in circuit building, programming, and basic electronics, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and practical learning.

RGB LED with Push Button Activity at ATL

The Class 9th students of Bharti Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar enthusiastically participated in an LED Blinking Activity at the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL).
