**DC Kishtwar Reviews Progress of Developmental Works Under LADP/CSR & R&R Plans of various Hydroelectric Projects in the District**

A comprehensive review meeting regarding the progress of works being executed under the Local Area Development Programme (LADP), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Plans of various Hydroelectric Power Projects including Pakal Dul, Kiru, Kwar, and Ratle was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), at the Meeting Hall of the New DC Office Complex, Kishtwar.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of several key developmental works being undertaken across the district. These included creation of a 63 MVA, 33/11 KV Receiving Station along with a 33 KV line at Hasti Kishtwar; construction of Veterinary Complex with residential accommodation at Kukerwas, Drabshalla; establishment of individual high-density orchards/plantations; additional water lifting schemes; renovation of MS Nagseni and MS Chingnana; upgradation of power distribution infrastructure in tribal areas; and several other public welfare projects.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of both the physical and financial progress of ongoing as well as completed works.
Stressing the importance of timely implementation, the Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments and executing agencies to ensure expeditious completion of projects for the larger benefit of the public.
Officers from various line departments including RDD, Education, Health, Agriculture, Youth Services & Sports, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Municipal Committee, PWD, Jal Shakti, REW RDD, Fire & Emergency Services, JPDCL, and other allied departments presented updates on the current status of the works allotted to their respective departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned department to complete pending land mutations of Government schools on an immediate basis wherever the process remains incomplete.
He further directed the concerned executing agencies to submit Technical Sanctions (TS) of the works within stipulated timelines and emphasized fixing accountability in cases of delay.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all executing agencies to accelerate pending works on a war footing while maintaining quality standards and transparency in implementation.
He also instructed that any requirement of funds for priority works should be brought to the immediate notice of the Deputy Commissioner for timely intervention and resolution.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kishtwar Sh. Vinod Kumar Behnal (JKAS), ACD Kishtwar Sh. Manoj Kumar (JKAS), CEO Municipal Council Kishtwar Sh. Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal, CAO Kishtwar Sh. Kushal Chandel, CEO Kishtwar Sh. Sanjay Dogra, CHO Kishtwar Sh. Sajid Mustafa, DSHO Kishtwar Dr. Jamil Nasir, ExEns, besides other Officers and Concerned Staff.
