Narration Change
Use of Must
If must is used for morality or universality then there is no changed in indirect narration.
Ex - She said, "One must do one's duty."
Ans - She said that one must do one's duty.
But if must is used as present of future sense : used - Have to / has to / had to, will have to / would have to.
Ex - Ram said, "I must go there at once."
Ans - Ram said that he had to go there at once.

Write the correct alternative to fill in the blanks :
One day we ____ (see) Kala Nag while we were in the hills. The monsoons ____ (burst) with all their fury and it ____ (rained) since the previous nightfall.
Ans : saw, had burst, had been raining.
1. এখানে we were বুঝিয়ে দিচ্ছে এটা simple past, তাই এখানে saw হবে।
2. এখানে Kala Nag কে দেখার আগে monsoons এসেছে। এটা past এর past, তাই এটি past perfect। তাই এখানে had burst হবে।
3. এখানে since বা for থাকলে আমরা জানি has been/had been + verb-ing হয়, তাই এখানে had been raining হবে।
