Wild Chhotonagpur Plateau Trust (WCPT) has been working with the women and children of 30 tribal communities spread across more than 80 villages, over the past 2 years. Since 2020 they have been actively involved in Covid-19 relief measures. A major challenge that they have encountered in the process – ‘limited access to medical facilities, drugs and supplies’. To mitigate this issue WCPT with IIC and X-CUBATE has planned a fund-raising campaign to procure essential COVID-19 medical supplies for the community.

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals who can help us drive the campaign. This is a two-week volunteering program (August 2021) and participants will be awarded with role relevant certificates. We will be hosting a webinar to brief interested participants and address your queries on 31/7/2021.

Introducing the first council members of Institution's Innovation Council, Xavier University Bhubaneswar, Prarthana Chand ( Student Coordinator), Surya Narayan Kar (Innovation Coordinator), Monak Mayur (Start-Up Coordinator), and Arun Ayyappankutty (Project Coordinator).

Starting on 5th August 2020, IIC has successfully engaged 50 plus students in projects. It has completed 2 Independent and undertaken 2 Collaborative projects to incorporate students' knowledge and skills and add richness to students' careers.

IIC works with the primary aim to build a strong foundation and foster the culture of Innovation across Xavier University, Bhubaneswar from ideas generation to pre-incubation, incubation, and investment.
