About our Swami Shradhanand DAV Centenary Public School Khunti
SS DAV Centenary Public School, Khunti is a Senior Secondary, co-educational, School. The school is known not just for its academic excellence, but for excellence in sport, music and art, innovations and drama. The institution aims to be a centre for excellence in education which, in keeping with the rich heritage of India, will stress on the simultaneous development of body, mind and spirit, and endeavor to create compassionate, responsible citizens, committed to the development of India and the world.
The campus of the school, spread over about 6.21 acres, has 4 grand and beautiful buildings comprising Class rooms, Administrative spaces, Auditorium, Library, Tinkering, Computer and Science laboratories. The AISSE & AISSCE results in the previous session were excellent (XII S: 94.8%, XII C: 91.4%, X: 96%). Students even won top honours at National level in Sports. We are confident that these students will exploit their potential to the fullest and grow, both academically and personally.
We believe school is a place where the foundation for the future is laid and ensures a stable, successful, satisfied life and nurturing them as Global Citizen where geographical boundaries would cease to deter belongingness to merely one corner or location and would certainly demand a much wider perspective and a mindset to match from each individual.
At SS DAV Public School , Khunti, we cherish the opportunity to help cultivate each student’s God-gifted talents in all areas, including academic, social-emotional, spiritual, artistic, and athletics. Through our principles and dedication we continue to strive further to develop literacy and numeracy skills, to help each student as they pursue their own pathway. We work closely with students, staff, and parents to help our students face the challenges with a smiling face. In a surrounding when work and effort is valued, the child’s self-esteem is heightened, which results in self-motivation. We try to understand and work with each child, and we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to enable the child in our care to develop as a whole. In this era of cut throat competition, it is of paramount importance to impart an integrated education to the future citizens of the Nation for successfully facing multitasking. Therefore, we lay special emphasis on both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities providing students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity.
