🌾 VB-G RAM G Work Site Visit – Khowai

Today, the ADM (PPs), Khowai visited the VB-G RAM G work site, “Irrigation Channel for Community,” at Purba Ramchandra Ghat Gram Panchayat under Khowai RD Block.

During the visit, the ADM (PPs) interacted with the labourers engaged in the work and enquired about the progress of the work, working conditions, availability of employment and benefits received under the VB-G RAM G programme.

The labourers expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the programme and shared that it is providing them with local employment and wage income. They also appreciated the irrigation channel, which is expected to improve water availability for agricultural activities and benefit the local farming community.

The initiative highlights the commitment towards rural employment, livelihood generation and creation of sustainable community assets under VB-G RAM G.

The person involved has been arrested under the relevant provisions of the Tripura Excise Act, and a Prosecution Report is being submitted in accordance with the law.
